Re. Rides and 'Helps' Qualification for SE Group Trophies Scheme

Following formation of a new Group called Mid South the South East Group committee have received several enquiries asking which rides and ‘helps’ will qualify for the SE Group trophies and how the formation of a the Mid South group will affect rides that now sit within the new group area.

We confirm that for this year, all the ‘old’ South East rides (i.e. those that now sit within the new group area) will still count for the South East Group trophies.  In effect, it does not matter in which Group area they are actually located.  So, for helping and trophies the Mid South rides in what was previously part of the South East group will be treated as "joint rides", including Southdowns and Hornshill which are actually in the revised SE area.  In summary the SE trophy rules as printed and recently sent out to SE Group members are correct including the list of rides eligible for trophies and for helping.

We hope this helps to clear up any confusion and concerns SE Group members have regarding this subject.  However, do feel free to contact any member of the SEG Committee if you require further clarification.
