1. All classes are run under Endurance GB rules. A full set of Ride Rules are obtainable from Endurance GB National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth CV8 2RP.

2. All riders who are not members of EGB will have to ride as a “Temporary Day Member”, see table of entry fees. Temporary Day Members can only enter the Novice CR, Class 5, if riding a horse registered with EGB. All horses, aged 4+, may enter the NCR classes.

3. No horse may compete in the CR Classes without a Horse Log Book.

4. Entry fees are refundable in full if withdrawn on or before the closing date. 50% of entry fee will be refunded if withdrawn after the closing date, on production of a Doctor’s or Vet’s certificate or photocopy of master card showing horse has been eliminated at a Ride not more than 21 days prior to this Ride.

5. The Ride Organisers may refuse any entry without explanation.

Refreshments At the Venue

There will be a catering van at the venue but under the rules of the Ashdown Forest Byelaws money cannot be exchanged on the Forest for food and drink. Therefore to ensure that hot and cold refreshments are still available at the venue for everyone we ask that competitors add to the entry fee a refundable £5.00 for food and drink vouchers which will be sent out with their ride details. These vouchers can be exchanged with the caterer for food and drink. Competitors can go to the secretary to ask for refunds for any vouchers that are not used.

If this rule is not followed, we are in great danger of losing this ride forever. So please send money for refreshment vouchers before the ride. Thankyou.

DRESS: A hard hat of PAS 015, BSEN 1384, EN 1384 or ASTM/SEI standard must be worn with the chinstrap securely fastened. If riding footwear without a heel is worn, a suitable caged front to the stirrup must be fitted. Competitors may not ride in Wellington Boots. Whips may not exceed 75cm in length. Spurs are not permitted.
