The South East Group covers Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey & the Isle of Wight. The group runs competitive endurance rides, graded endurance rides and pleasure rides, as well as quite a number of social events throughout the year. During 2013 we will be holding 14 days of rides.

Endurance riding

Endurance - or long distance - riding is a friendly sport which can be enjoyed at any level, from non-competitive pleasure rides of 10 miles or so, up to competitive endurance rides of 100 miles in a day. Any horse or pony that is fit, healthy and sound can successfully take part in shorter rides without specialist training or equipment – why not come along and give it a go?. Take a look at the Getting started section of this website for general tips, and when you are ready, enter one of the South East Group’s rides. Do please look at our Associate Membership Scheme too.
